Yes Vermont is a great place to go skiing (we are only 8 miles from Mad River Glen and 12 miles from Sugarbush), but for the non-skiers our Bed and Breakfast's location provides you with many many things to do and see. We have listed just a few of the activities you can do while staying with us.

Within 15 minutes or less you will be able to:

Use our complimentary snow shoes to go for walks around the farm or even on the many trails in the woods surrounding us.

Use our complimentary sleds to return you to your younger days while sledding in our pastures, or country roads.

Use our hot tub. Nothing beats sitting in a hot tub while watching the snow come down.

See where it's made. Again in our immediate area, visit Compton Pottery, Honeylights ( where Bee's Wax Candles are made), Vermont Folk Rocker (where one of Vermont's most famous and most comfortable Rocking Chairs are made), and Art on Main, (where all local artisans display their many products ranging from, sculptures, paintings, potters, weavers and many more).

For the adventurous, you may want to track a moose, deer or snowshoe hares that inhabits the woods that surround our farm. Just in case we have some  information about tracking.

Visit Two Old Saps Sugar House. Although Paul is not boiling sap in the winter, you may catch him and learn all about how Maple Syrup is Made. Nothing better than to bring home a jug of Maple syrup from a Sugar House you've toured and can explain to your friends back home how it was made.

Last but not lease visit the Jerusalem Country store as well as the Lincoln General Store. Nothing is more Vermont than a Local General Store.

See where it's made. Danforth Pewter has a beautiful show room and you'll also be able to see the actual pewter products being made, Vermont Organic Soap where all natural soap is made and they have a great sales room and nothing is better than touring Otter Creek Brewery and seeing how it's made and oh yes, there is sampling as. Well as Lincoln Peak Winery where there is also sampling.

Last but definitely not least, how about seeing and walking through a Vermont Covered Bridge.
